Daniel pulled from the Bronco could not wait to wake up this morning because he knew his favorite person was coming to visit. Up and showed, walked and ate breakfast bright and early and waiting at the door for Josh. Daniel gave Josh the grass he pulled up from the Broncos field especially for him and we gave him the special outfit for Baby Jeesh train him right. It's okay if he never wears it Josh. And then they talked football for a long while. I couldn't ask for a better companion for Daniel. I know Daniel looks so forward to sharing everything football with you and sees you as such a role model. I will be okay. It makes me sad that Daniel doesn't get to go to synagogue. He actually likes synagogue. Really. He always has enjoyed everything Judaic. Especially going and spending time with his Zaida Moish. Me, I love the cooking and prep and as exhausting and stressful as the family time is having everyone together, I actually enjoy it and look forward to it all. I know most dread it but I love the social aspect of it and seeing people you haven't see in a while and the idea of a fresh start and clean slate. Well, this year we will start really fresh and with a new immune system so talk about extremes huh? As far as this week we continue to just hang out. Numbers are hovering and then will be continuing to drop but Daniel feels really good and has lots of energy. We expect his teacher to be here to start instruction Monday afternoon so that is very exciting finally. We would love some visits IF EVERYONE IS HEALTHY, because now is not a good time to expose Daniel to any illness so close to transplant. Other than that ...we wait. Oh and watch football. |
