After everyone cleared out I was absolutely exhausted but Daniel still had energy for a round of Monopoly. Ugh, have I told you how much I hate this game. Rob and Matthew left, the two of us had dinner and I can hardly move I am so tired. The nurses kept commenting how surprised they were to see so many people around today since we normally don't have many. It was nice to have everyone around, but man was it loud. I truly enjoy the fun and love continued support. Not only was the room full to capacity today, but so is my heart.
I know these are getting to be boring posts but that's okay as long as it lasts. Health wise Daniel is doing okay. He had a small fainting incident yesterday that the doctors decided was probably because he is looking slightly anemic, so today Daniel got some blood, but other than that we are rolling along and feeling good. We all had a ridiculous amount of lunch that Rob brought in from Tom's Home Cooking (at Daniel's request), he may be regretting this choice. Not sure if you remember an earlier blog about how long it takes to get a simple TUMS around this joint. It may accomplish weight gain though. Then at one point the room got very small as it filled up with family. Between Rob and Matthew and two sets of Grandparents it was very crowded. You could almost feel the love and a few other unmentionables in the room. And then Rana came (go to thank yous too). Oh how nice to see Rana. Rana my friend who has been there for so long. Rana who sat through a lot of information with a Doctor and really got to see what it is like everyday on this information highway. It is remarkable how much we are able to learn when we are truly invested in something we care about. We get new information every day and lots of it. A lot of it has to be repeated to make sure we are in fact understanding and then sometimes we need to forget one plan and switch to the next when things change so rapidly in the plan. Right now things are going as expected and we watch the numbers and search for a donor and both are going reportedly well. What really stood out today was Daniel's character and I am so proud that Rana was there to see and share with us. I trust she will share with others just how special Daniel is. Amidst all the information the Doctor asked Daniel if he had any questions and he only had one. It was a question about what the donor that they find would have to go through. Can you believe my son? I can. That is our Daniel.

Daniel, thanks for the good visit, you are really a trooper at the head of the troop. We were truly sorry to have to go home, but we will be back, keep up the great recovery. We love you.

Keep strong - all of you. I know that everyone is praying that you find a match so Daniel can truly be on the road to recovery - if only it were based on love then the line would stretch for miles! I know this is one education you could all avoid.
