Many have asked how Daniel is doing and how we get through the day. What we do during the day and what our days look like. I decided to show you what Daniel’s home medical care looks like. It is pretty time consuming but not as cumbersome as you might think. It will start to lighten up very soon. A lot of the I.V. part will be gone after the CMV is resolved and hopefully the fluids can stop. Hopefully the amount of pills will reduce too after next week, but most importantly to me I want to stop the antibiotic that Daniel has been on for over 8 months. This is the one that has such long term effects. He is on it from the initial infection he had in his hip from a year ago. I know the one that Daniel is most excited to stop is his nose spray and mouth rinses. He was glad to go down to twice a day he will be thrilled to stop all together. I know the I.V.s and the pills don’t really bother him twice a day but the nose spray he says he never EVER got used to. I hope one day he won’t ever have to take any medicine and I won’t ever have to administer any anymore. Here are photos of his daily routine. All of this is twice a day.
